(Verwundetenabzeichen in Silber mit Etui und Anstecknadel). Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with an integral hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch emanating from a circular baseplate, the latter maker marked with Präsidialkanzlei code “100” for Wächtler & Lange, Mittweida, measuring 35.96 mm (w) x 43.76 mm (h), weighing 22.8 grams, accompanied by its original presentation case, constructed of a card stock frame with a faux maroon leather exterior liner, the interior with a slotted red felt medal bed, unmarked, measuring 66 mm (w) x 66 mm (l) x 16 mm (h), also accompanied by a matching stick pin, constructed of a silvered alloy, the reverse maker marked with an LDO code of either “L/53” for Hymmen & Co., Lüdenscheid, or “L/58” for Rudolf Souval, Vienna, measuring 15 mm (w) x 17 mm (h), the medal bed has detached from the case and minor loss of finish is visible to the badge, in overall extremely fine condition.
