Germany, Heer. A Mint and Unissued Panzer Wrap

(Heer Panzerjacke). An exceptional Heer Panzer wrap, constructed of black wool. It features a turned-down collar which transitions into wide double breast lapels. Each shoulder is flanked by a loop and pebbled, black-painted, magnetic metal button for the addition of straps. The cuff of each sleeve has a hidden grey cotton twill strap perforated with a single reinforced buttonhole, in turn meeting two black bakelite buttons for an adjustable fit. It closes with nine black bakelite buttons on the right breast meeting an equal number of hidden buttonholes and loops on the left. The interior is partially encompassed by a multi-piece grey cotton twill liner with a single pocket set into the right breast. Unmarked, the wrap measures approximately 48 cm across the shoulders, with an arm length of 61 cm, and an overall body length of 64 cm. Demonstrating no evidence of any insignia previously being applied, nor any notable damage or wear, this unissued example remains in a near mint condition.
