Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Belt Buckles

(Gürtelschnallen). A pair of belt buckles, including:

1. A Sturmabteilung (SA) Enlisted buckle, constructed of partially-silvered brass, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching a wreathed sunwheel-style swastika, situated within a ribbed ring bearing oak leaf branches, the reverse with swivel attachment claws, unmarked, measuring 62 mm (w) x 48 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

2. A Kriegsmarine Administrative Officer’s buckle, constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of a circular laurel leaf wreath, surrounding a raised fouled anchor on a ribbed background, the reverse with a clip, maker marked with the logo of Emil Jüttner, Lüdenscheid, measuring 60 mm in diameter, the reverse loop has broken off, in better than very fine condition.
