The collection consists of: an Iron Cross 2nd Class award document (142x199mm, better than very fine); a Panzer Badge in Silver award document (149x210mm, near very fine); a Wound Badge in Black award document (141x200mm, near very fine); a period studio portrait (88x137mm, better than fine).

All award document are named to SS-Sturmmann Josef Brunner on the 6th Company of SS Panzer Regiment 2 “Das Reich”.

The Iron Cross 2nd Class award document is dated to March 22, 1943 and signed in blue ink by the leader of the SS Division “Das Reich”, SS-Standartenführer Kurt Brasack (1892–1978), a recipient of the German Cross in Gold.

The Panzer Badge in Silver award document is dated to March 27, 1943 and is again signed by Brasack.

The Wound Badge in Black award document was awarded for Brunner being wounded once on July 26, 1944. It is dated to September 19, 1944 and signed in blue crayon by the leader of the 6th regiment, an SS-Sturmbannführer, his name is illegible.

The studio portrait shows Brunner in uniform in the rank of SS-Sturmmann.
