A Certificate of Issue for a World War Commemorative Medal of the German Legion of Honour (Deutsche Ehrendenkmünze des Weltkrieges 1914-1918 Papier). Measuring 240 mm (w) x 170 mm (h), undated, in extremely fine condition.

A Certificate of Issue for a Wound Badge (Verwundetenabzeichen Papier). Measuring 210 mm (w) x 149 mm (h), dated 15 December 1936, in near extremely fine condition.

A Certificate of Issue for a War Merit Cross, II Class (Kriegsverdienstkreuz II. Klasse Papier). Measuring 210 mm (w) x 295 mm (h), dated 1 September 1941, in near extremely fine condition.

A Rare and Complete Edition of Ich Kämpfe (I Fight) (Ich Kämpfe Erstauflage). This is a rare and extremely well-preserved copy of “Ich Kämpfe” (“I Fight”). Measuring 214 mm (w) x 240 mm (h) and constructed of heavy off-white paper, the book features 100 pages of colour and black-and-white photographs alongside brief histories of Third Reich organizations, including the Schutzstaffel (SS), Sturmabteilung (SA), HJ, National Socialist Motor Corps (NSKK), National Socialist Flying Corps (NSFK), and others, many authored by prominent NSDAP figures. In extremely fine condition.

A Group of Third Reich Period Postcards and Satirical Publications (Drittes Reich Postkarten). A group of Third Reich period postcards, including a black-and-white depiction of a parade in Nuremberg, measuring 139 mm (w) x 89 mm (h), unused; a black-and-white depiction of the 1937 Nuremberg Rally, measuring 149 mm (w) x 103 mm (h), unused; a large, foldable depiction of the 1937 Nuremberg Rally, measuring 297 mm (w) x 104 mm (h) when fully extended, unused; a colour depiction of the Munich Brown House, measuring 148 mm (w) x 105 mm (h), unused; a plain field postcard with a satirical stamp depicting Winston Churchill, measuring 150 mm (w) x 105 mm (h), unused; a First War period postcard marked with the Germany Army’s postal service stamp, measuring 90 mm (w) x 140 mm (h), with handwritten inscription on reverse, in extremely fine condition; a card with lyrics and music for a Weiden folk song, measuring 142 mm (w) x 100 mm (h), in very fine condition, and; a satirical poem, written in the style of the Lord’s Prayer, parodying Austrian Chancellor Kurt Schuschnigg, measuring 147 mm (w) x 105 mm (h).

 

Footnote: Items belonged to NSDAP Party Member Karl Waidhas. Karl Waidhas was born on 9 September 1895 in Weiden, Bavaria. He served in the 13th Infantry Regiment of the German Army during the First World War and, in the interwar period, was awarded decorations by Bulgaria and Hungary for his services. Waidhas joined the NSDAP on 8 August 1925, becoming member number 13875. He was later a recipient of the Golden Party Badge, which was bestowed on 14 April 1934, as well as the NSDAP 25-Year Long Service Cross, which he received on 31 May 1940. During the Second World War, Waidhas was an official with Deutsche Reichsbahn (German National Railways). According to his NSDAP membership booklet, he remained a member in good standing until March 1945.
