Germany, Third Reich. A Mixed Lot of Commemorative Badges

(Abzeichen). A mixed lot of four badges, including:

1. A 1934 Reichsnährstand Weimar Farmer’s Day badge, constructed of silvered bronze, horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 30 mm (w) x 42 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

2. A 1942 Esch-Alzig Regional Day badge, constructed of a silvered zink alloy, horizontal pinback, the reverse maker marked “S. & L. O.”, measuring 40 mm in diameter, in better than very fine condition.

3. A Halle-Merseburg German Labour Front (DAF) and Reichsnährstand Gau assembly badge, constructed of magnetic metal, vertical pinback, unmarked, measuring 32 mm (w) x 50 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.

4. An NSRL physical exercise badge, constructed of aluminum, the reverse maker marked “K. WURSTER, MARKNEUKIRCHEN”, measuring 24 mm (w) x 32 mm (h), missing its pinback, in very fine condition.
