Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Badges

(Abzeichen). A pair of badges, including:

1. A 1944 Tyrolean Marksmanship Gau Achievement Badge for Riflemen, constructed of multi-coloured zink, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, surrounding a central Tyrol-style German national eagle clutching a bullseye target, flanked by a date of “1944”, situated above an inscription of “WEHRMANN”, the reverse with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, measuring 52 mm in diameter, demonstrating moderate loss of finish, in better than very fine condition.

2. A German Troops of the Croatian Defence Forces sleeve insignia, constructed of aluminum, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, surrounding a central red disc overlaid by a black and silvered swastika, the edge perforated with six eyelets for sew-on attachment, unmarked, measuring 62 mm in diameter, in near mint condition.
