(Jagdgeschwader 6 Erinnerungsmedaille). Constructed of silvered bronze, the obverse bearing a central raised German national eagle clutching a Sturmabteilung (SA) logo, circumscribed by an inscription of “JAGDGESCHWADER HORST WESSEL”, the reverse bearing a central raised inscription of ‘TREUE UM TREUE” (“LOYALTY BEGETS LOYALTY”), maker marked “DESCHLER, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 80 mm in diameter, demonstrating only minor loss of finish, in extremely fine condition.
