A ribbon bar for a decorated First and Second World War combatant, featuring nine decorations, including a 1914 Iron Cross II Class, a 1939 Clasp to the Iron Cross II Class, a Braunschweig War Merit Cross with Bewährungsabzeichen, An Oldenburg Friedrich August Cross, a Long Service Award, an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 for Combatants, a Luftwaffe Long Service Award, an Ottoman Liyakat Medal with Swords, and an Austrian Order of the Iron Crown, all affixed to a 110 mm-long zink bar with a horizontal pinback and grey wool reverse liner, unmarked, the core is short by the length of one decoration as a result of retro-fitting a Third Reich-period decoration, in addition to some material fatigue of the ribbons and oxidation emanating from some of the metal devices, a superb bar to a recipient with an extensive and distinguished military career in very fine condition.
