Constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of a circular oak leaf wreath, around a central Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, situated above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 42.61 mm (w) x 53.05 mm (h), weighing 29.1 grams, demonstrating minor loss of finish throughout, in near extremely fine condition.
