Germany, Ordnungspolizei. A Rare Water Protection Police EM/NCO’s Belt Buckle

(Wasserschutzpolizei Gürtelschnalle). Constructed of gilded magnetic metal, the obverse bearing a central raised mobile swastika, circumscribed by an inscription of “GOTT MIT UNS” (“GOD WITH US”) and oak leaf branches joined together at the bottom by ribbon, the reverse with a loop and swivel attachment prongs, unmarked, measuring 64 mm (w) x 49 mm (h), demonstrating minor loss of finish to high-contact points, a scarce buckle primarily used by Wasserschutzpolziei (Water Protection Police) personnel in near extremely fine condition.
