A portrait consisting of a reproducing of a famous engraving of King Ludwig I of Bavaria, depicted leaning against a table in full imperial regalia with orders and ceremonial sword, set within a ribbed frame, situated above a name and title, the lower edge of the image printer marked “STIELER” and engraver marked “C. BARTH” for Karl Barth, concealed within an ornate coppered metal frame with an intact glass face, the reverse featuring a white card stock backer secured in place with side rivets and retaining both a suspension loop and swivel stand, measuring 13 cm (w) x 17.5 cm (h), with minor discolouration evident to the paper, a superb display piece in near extremely fine condition.
