Germany, Third Reich. A German Peoples Group in Croatia Membership Badge

(Deutsche Volksgruppe in Kroatien Mitgliedsabzeichen). Constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, vertical pinback, the obverse bearing a central black swastika, set within an inscription of “DEUTSCHE VOLKSGRUPPE IN KROATIEN (“GERMAN PEOPLES GROUP IN CROATIA”), unmarked, measuring 12 mm (w) x 22 mm (h), demonstrating minor flecking and loss of finish to the enamels and base metal, respectively, in better than very fine condition.
