Institution Date: May 13, 1808. Of French manufacture and style, an ornate five pointed star in silver gilt, hand filed detailing, with a large gold and white enameled star affixed by pins through ball finials, tower in silver gilt separately affixed, centre of outstanding quality in hand etched gold with blue and green enamels, reverse with pin assembly as well as two stays, measuring 66 mm (w) x 74 mm (h,, enamel loss to centre sword and laurels, with old ink on paper collectors tag, better than very fine.
