Germany, Wehrmacht. A Pair of Dagger Hangers

(Dolch Gehänge). A pair of dagger hangers, including:

1. A set of Heer hangers, consisting of a gilded aluminum loop with two additional loops emanating from the lower edge, the latter retaining dual field-grey doeskin straps topped by silver aluminum wire tresses, each adjusted with functional silvered zink alloy buckles and culminating in functional silvered spring clips to lock onto scabbard loops, unmarked, measuring 28 cm in total length as presented, demonstrating minor material fatigue and loss of finish to the straps and metal fixtures, respectively, in very fine condition.

2. A set of Luftwaffe hangers, consisting of a functional silvered zink oak leaf spring clip with dual loops emanating from the lower edge, the latter retaining dual dark grey doeskin straps topped by dark grey rayon tresses flanked by silver aluminum wire piping, each adjusted with functional silvered zink buckles and culminating in functional silvered spring clips to lock onto scabbard loops, unmarked, measuring 26 cm in total length as presented, demonstrating extensive oxidation and loss of finish to the metal fixtures with some material fatigue to the straps, in very fine condition.
