(Dietrich Eckart Erinnerungsabzeichen). Constructed of bronze, the obverse bearing a raised and rightward-facing profile of Dietrich Eckart, circumscribed by inscriptions of “1923 DIETRICH ECKART 1933” and “DEUTSCHLAND ERWACHE” (“GERMANY AWAKE”), the reverse with a horizontal pinback, bearing an inscription of “NEUMARKT I. D. OBPF., GEBURTS. U. VATERSTADT DIETRICH ECKARTS” (“NEUMARKT IN DER OBERPFALZ, DIETRICH ECKART’S BIRTHPLACE AND HOMETOWN”), maker marked “DESCHLER & SOHN, MÜNCHEN”, measuring 37 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
