Constructed of gilded and silvered cupal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a two visible flattened rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, with barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of manufacture by Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid, measuring 41.75 mm (w) x 53.16 mm (h), weighing 19.4 grams, demonstrating moderate loss of finish throughout, in better than very fine condition; accompanied by a stick pin miniature, constructed of silvered tombak, unmarked, measuring 8.04 mm (w) x 9.87 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a Sturm-Regiment unit pin, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the reverse maker marked “HOFFSTÄTTER, BONN”, measuring 14.30 mm (w) x 17.27 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
