Germany, Luftwaffe. A Fallschirmjäger Badge, with Miniature and Unit Pin, by Steinhauer & Lück

(Fallschirmschützenabzeichen mit Miniatur und Anstecknadel). Constructed of gilded and silvered cupal, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel and oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, overlaid by a diving Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, the reverse with a two visible flattened rivets securing the obverse eagle in place, with barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked but demonstrating the characteristics of manufacture by Steinhauer & Lück, Lüdenscheid, measuring 41.75 mm (w) x 53.16 mm (h), weighing 19.4 grams, demonstrating moderate loss of finish throughout, in better than very fine condition; accompanied by a stick pin miniature, constructed of silvered tombak, unmarked, measuring 8.04 mm (w) x 9.87 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; a Sturm-Regiment unit pin, constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the reverse maker marked “HOFFSTÄTTER, BONN”, measuring 14.30 mm (w) x 17.27 mm (h), in extremely fine condition.
