(Infanterie-Sturmabzeichen). A pair of Infantry Assault Badges, including:

 

1. A Silver Grade award, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Wilhelm Hobacher, Vienna, measuring 46.74 mm (w) x 61.42 mm (h), weighing 35.0 grams, demonstrating evidence of re-finishing with some oxidation, in very fine condition.

 

2. A Bronze Grade award, constructed of bronzed zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle,the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of Friedrich Linden, Lüdenscheid, measuring 47.45 mm (w) x 63.23 mm (h), weighing 30.8 grams, demonstrating minor loss of bronze finish with some oxidation, in near extremely fine condition.
