1. An Infantry Assault Badge, Silver Grade, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, topped by a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, diagonally across the badge is a Karabiner 98k rifle with the bayonet attached and the carrying sling hanging from the rifle, the reverse with a barrel hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of F.W. Assmann & Söhne, Lüdenscheid, measuring 47.54 mm (w) x 61.70 mm (h), demonstrating total loss of silver finish, in fair condition.
2. A General Assault Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, around a central Heer-style German national eagle clutching a mobile swastika, above a crossed bayonet and stick grenade, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with the logo of E. Ferdinand Wiedmann, Frankfurt, measuring 42.39 mm (w) x 52.86 mm (h), weighing 28.6 grams, in better than very fine condition.
3. A Silver Grade Wound Badge, constructed of silvered zink, the obverse consisting of an oval laurel leaf wreath, joined together at the bottom by ribbon, with a central raised Stahlhelm overlaid by a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords on a pebbled field, the reverse with a crimped hinge and vertical pinback meeting a round wire catch, maker marked with LDO code “L22” for Rudolf Souval, Vienna, measuring 36.40 mm (w) x 43.84 mm (h), weighing 17.0 grams, demonstrating near-total loss of silver finish, in very fine condition.
