Germany, Third Reich. A Munich NSDAP Capital Commemorative Tile, by Meissen

(München NSDAP Erinnerungsplatte). Constructed of glazed white porcelain, the obverse bearing a painted and finely-detailed Third Reich-period Munich coat of arms, set above an inscription of “MÜNCHEN - DIE HAUPTSTADT DER BEWEGUNG” (“MUNICH - THE CAPITAL OF THE MOVEMENT”), the reverse bearing an inscription indicating that the tile is an example of Meissen porcelain, measuring 15 cm (w) x 15 cm (h), the glaze demonstrated minor flecking and fine hairline fissures are visible to the painted coat of arms, in overall extremely fine condition.
