A total of 16 awards, including 14 medals, one set of wings, and one badge, once proudly framed, all displayed on a red velvet backing measuring at 20cm (w) x 31 cm (l) x 0.25cm (h). This set includes an 18K Gold Italian Order of the Crown and six Merit Medals awarded to WW@ period Italian pilot Maoloni Second, who is named on two of the awards presented (this frame comes in this condition through a family member living in Rome, Italy).

1. One set of Italian Pilots Wings,in bronze, maker marked on reverse “F. Breccia, Roma”, for the Fratelli Brothers, on a horizontal pinback, measuring at 75mm (l) x 22mm (w). This badge is from the pre-Armistice period but has had its axe blade severed from the fascio, likely done in the post-Armistice period.

2. One Second War Regia Aeronautica Badge, in aluminum, with minor wear and a vertical pinback, measuring at 35mm (w) x 51mm (h).

3. An Italo-Ethiopian War Commemorative Medal, in bronze, the obverse with a profile of Victor Emmanuel III, the reverse with a mountainous landscape and a fasces overlaid by inscriptions of “AFRICA ORIENTALE” (“EAST AFRICA”) and “MOLTI NEMICI, MOLTO ONORE” (“MANY ENEMIES, MUCH HONOUR”), above a facsimile of Benito Mussolini, unmarked, measuring 33.42 mm (w) x 38.33 mm (h).

4. A Concorso Nazionale National Aeronautical Badge, in bronze, measuring 37 mm in diameter, on period ribbon.

5. A named Al Valore medal in silver, named on the reverse to Maoloni Second, for Mediterranean Service (engraved 20-7-942 - 3-7-943) period ribbon measuring 33mm in diameter.

6. A named Al Valore Medal in bronze, on the reverse to Maoloni Second, for service in the Italian Campaign in Ethiopia dated March 1937- July 1938, on period ribbon measuring 33mm in diameter.

7. A Bronze Al Valore Medal, unnamed with a blank reverse, measuring 33mm in diameter.

8. An Aeronautical Military Medal in gilded gold, bearing a profile of Vittorio Emanuele III, on period ribbon, measuring 35 mm in diameter.

9. An 18K Gold Italian Order of the Crown, with enameling, measuring at 35.6mm (w) x 38.6mm (l).

10. A War Merit Cross in silver, with reverse bearing “XVI” (Roman numerals for 16), measuring at 35mm (w) x 38mm (h), on period ribbon.
