(Medaglia per 25 anni di fedel servizio). Instituted in 1834. In bronze gilt, obverse illustrating the bust of King Ferdinand II of the Two Sicilies (reign: 1830-1859) upon a pedestal and backed by a trophy-of-arms, inscribed "FERDINANDO II" above, reverse inscribed "LODEVOLE SERVIZIO MILITARE DI 25 ANNI" (Praiseworth Military Service of Twenty-Five Years), with crossed branches of laurel leaves at the base, measuring 39 mm in diameter, bruised, edge nicks, contact marks, scattered gilt wear, exhibiting greening on the reverse, original ribbon suspended from a hanger with the recipient's name inscribed "PIETRO COSTANTINO", the name flanked by "18" at the left and "35" at the right (date: 1835), very fine.
