Germany, Heer. An Afrika Cuff Title Certificate with Accompanying Letter to Obergefreiter Plehn, 1943

The Afrika Cuff Title certificate is named to Obergefreiter (Corporal) Heinz Plehn of the Supreme Command of Panzer Army Afrika. Dated to Landau (southwest Germany) on November 30, 1943. Measuring 139 mm (w) x 200 mm (h), presenting one folding crease and minimal creasing of the edges, remains near extremely fine.

The accompanying letter is dated to Landau on December 12, 1943 and was sent by a lieutenant from the Panzer Grenadier Replacement and Training Battalion 104 to Karl Plehn, father of Heinz Plehn. It says that the cuff title is being sent to him, because his son was redeployed to a different unit, and since it is unknown to which one, he is asked to make sure his son gets the award. Measuring 148 mm (w) x 103 mm (h), presenting a folding crease, remains extremely fine.
