Czechoslovakia, Republic. An Order of the White Lion, Military Division, Silver Merit Medal by Karnet & Kysely

Rád Bilého Lva. Instituted December 7, 1922. In silver, a round medal featuring a rampant lion surrounded by the inscription PRAVDA VITEZI, the reverse bears the central letters CRS, UDELENO V UZNANI ZASLUH around the exterior, the medal is surmounted by a wreath with crossed swords, measures 26.6mm (w) x 50.9mm (h – inclusive of suspension ring), marked on ring with KK denoting manufacture by Karnet & Kysely, a goats head and ‘2’ denoting silver composition, worn on original ribbon, dark patina, a very rare medal in very fine condition.
