Germany, Third Reich. An Officer’s Sword, by Alexander Coppel

The sword measures at 103.5 cm in total length with silver blade with no markings measuring at 2.5cm wide, the hilt is in bronze with a black grip, the bottom of the hilt bears the numbers “1259”, a Waffenamt mark and “A.C/G” for Alexander Coppel. There is also a portapee attached to the hilt. There is a singular loop on the scabbard. The scabbard measures 89 cm (l) and the hilt measures at 16cm (l) x 12cm (w), very fine.
