Germany, Kriegsmarine. A Set of Cape Clasps

(Kriegsmarine Umhang Schnalle). A set of Kriegsmarine cape clasps, consisting of dual gilded bronze medallions bearing raised and finely-detailed lion heads, one medallion bearing an integral loop with a bronze chain meeting an analogous clip emanating from the other medallion for opening and closing, the reverse of each medallion features five clips for the accommodation of backers, unmarked, the medallions each measures 40 mm in diameter and the chain measures 95 mm in length, the medallions are missing their backers but the set is in an otherwise extremely fine condition.
