Germany, NSRKB. A National Socialist Reich Warriors Association League - Kyffhäuser Flag Bearer’s Gorget, with Case

(NS-Reichskriegerbund Kyffhäuser Ringkragen). A well-preserved NS-Reichskriegerbund - Kyffhäuser (National Socialist Reich Warriors Association - Kyffhäuser) flag bearer’s gorget, constructed of aluminum, the obverse bearing a central gilt applique in the form of Imperial- and Third Reich-period standards surrounding a central oval oak leaf wreath, in turn bearing an enameled Kyffhäuser insignia, with the upper corners featuring gilt studs, the reverse retaining an intact black felt liner, with a loop and clip emanating from the studs for the accommodation of a matching full-length multi-link neck chain, with the links featuring alternating patterns of swastikas and Cross Pattées, the clip stamped with a mark of “3”, measuring 16 cm (w) x 12 xm (h), accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of a two-piece card stock frame with a faux black leather exterior liner, the lid bearing a decal featuring a Kyffhäuser insignia at the upper left corner, the interior plain with a full-colour and unused NSKOV postcard inset as a liner, the case measuring 17 cm (w) x 12 cm (l) x 4.5 cm (h), some scratching is evident to the aluminum of the gorget and the case demonstrates moderate material fatigue (including the loss of the lower border of the lid), in overall better than very fine condition.
