Luxembourg, Kingdom. An Order of the Oak Crown, Knight in Gold, c.1880

Instituted on December 29 1841 by King Wilhelm II. In Gold, A white enamelled cross pattee, the obverse medallion features the crowned W cypher, the reverse mirrors the obverse, measures 35.1mm (w) x 38.0mm (h – inclusive of integral ball), weighs 11.2 grams, marked on the integral ball with lion’s head gold mark, worn on original very faded ribbon, light wear around the medallions, in near extremely fine condition.
