WWI Pair to Gunner Gordon E. Findlay CFA - British War Medal (1251927 GNR. G.E. FINDLAY. C.F.A.); and Victory Medal (1251927 GNR. G.E. FINDLAY. C.F.A.). Naming is officially impressed. Court mounted, with swing bar pinback as worn by the veteran, dark patina on the BWM, light contact, extremely fine.  Footnote: Gordon Ernest Findlay was born on July 12, 1898 in Montreal, Quebec. He signed his Attestation Paper with the 79th Battery CEF in Montreal on May 17, 1917, naming his next-of-kin as his father, W.E. Findlay, stating that he had previous military service with the 21st Canadian Field Artillery, that he was not married and that his trade was that of Student.
