Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Northern New Brunswick with mobilization headquarters at Chatham under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion sailed October 26, 1916 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel G.W. Mersereau with a strength of 32 officers and 809 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 13th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
