WWI 167th Infantry Battalion Cap Badge CEF - Browning copper, maker marked "CARON FRERES MONTREAL 1916" on the reverse, 36.5 mm x 44.3 mm, intact lugs, better than extremely fine.Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Quebec, with mobilization headquarters at Quebec City under the authority of G.O. 151, December 22, 1915. The Battalion was formed under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel O. Readman and re-designated the Quebec Recruiting Depot. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
