Feldgendarmerie (Army Military Field Police) Gorget

Feldgendarmerie (Army Military Field Police) Gorget - gorget of multi piece construction, made of zinc ally, while the chain is made entirely of die stamped steel (magnetic); this is a late War example, in well worn condition. The chain is approximately 60cm (or 25 inches) long; the gorget measures approximately 16cm x 10.5cm (or 6-1/2 inches by 4-1/2 inches). The back of the gorget has the Army olive-grey wool backing and is unmarked; in good/fine condition overall.
