WWI 192nd Infantry Battalion Collar Badge Pair - One in pickled copper and maker marked "D.E. BLACK" on the reverse, the other in pickled brass and unmarked, 25.7 mm x 31 mm and 25.5 mm x 31.6 mm respectively, intact lugs, light contact, near extremely fine.Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Blairmore and District with mobilization headquarters at Blairmore, Alberta under the authority of G.O. 69, July 15, 1916. The Battalion sailed November 1, 1916 under the command of Captain H.E. Lyon with a strength of 23 officers and 424 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 9th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
