WWI 254th Infantry Battalion Collar Badge CEF - Pickled brass, voided, unmarked, 25 mm x 32.7 mm, intact lugs, light contact, residue in the recessed areas from cleaning, better than very fine.Footnote: The Battalion was raised in Central Ontario with mobilization headquarters at Belleville under the authority of G.O. 48, May 1, 1917. The Battalion sailed June 2, 1917 under the command of Lieutenant-Colonel A.P. Allen with a strength of 8 officers and 243 other ranks. In England, the Battalion was absorbed into the 6th Reserve Battalion. It was disbanded on September 15, 1920.
