An Austrian Order of Leopold - Grand Cross Star, in silver, center appliqu in silver gilt and enamels, 92mm, of fine quality manufacture by Vinc Mayer`s Shne, Wien, marked on reverse cartouche and tip of the upper arm; slight enamel flaking to the left arm of the cross, otherwise in very fine condition. Seldom awarded, very attractive and scarce.
