A Camouflage Stahlhelm M16; Brought Back to 48th Highlander Officer- This helmet has remained generally untouched since the war, having been in the hands of only a single collector until this point. The stamped, sheet steel construction, helmet retains nearly 99% of its original camo paint. Dome Stamp:KW239, Skirt Stamp: ET ?7 Unfortunately the interior padding and components have been lost. However, overall, the exterior of the helmet rates at near extremely fine. Footnote: According the owner, this came from the estate of a Canadian 48th highlander Officer during the 1970's.
