An WWI Iron Cross Medal Group; Marked M - Prussia: Iron Cross 2nd Class 1914 (silver with black paint, iron core, magnetic, maker marked "M" on the ring, 42.8 mm); and Imperial: Hindenburg Cross for Combatants (bronze gilt on iron, maker marked "R. S. L." (Richard Siepers, Lüdenscheid) on the reverse, 37 mm). Mounted to a suspension with swing bar pinback, as worn by the veteran, original ribbons, surface wear and rust evident on the arms of the IC, near extremely fine.
