A King's Medal for Service in the Cause of Freedom; Women's Version - Un-named, on bow-tied ribbon with pinback, dark patina, semblance of residue on the reverse from previous board mounting, better than very fine.   Footnote: The medal was intended for foreign civilians who had helped the Allied cause through fund-raising and organizing ambulance services, among other less dangerous functions. There were 2,490 medals awarded.
