Schwerin Berlin", of the highest quality for this badge, mint. Together with miniature badge (unmarked, in patinated tombac), 26mm; also mint condition, and contained within case of issue, better than extremely fine. Accompanying this mint badge are: Certificate to Otto Schrader for the Blockade Runner Badge; boarding pass for Otto Schreider from 1934; Klumbumbus, or the discovery of America; short poem in Dutch or Low Saxon, November 23rd, 1924; Betrayal on the "Columbus" by Anselm Schmitt, in dutch; two photos of the sinking of the steam ship Columbus, December 19th, 1939.
Footnote: Otto Schrader was the mucian aboard the SS Columbus until its scuttling along the East Coast of the United States on December 19th 1939. Otto Schrader would later become a Blockade Runner and granted his badge on 21st December 1942
