A Portuguese Military Order of Saint Benedict of Aviz - A WWII Period Grand Cross Set of Insignia comprising: Sash Badge: silver gilt and enamels, 39 mm x 50 mm, on full-length sash ribbon, intact enamels; and Breast Star: silver gilt and enamels, 89 mm x 91.2 mm, vertical pinback, partial enamel loss of the centrepiece insignia. In their handshelled case of issue, Republic of Portugal coat-of-arms on the lid, raised medal bed, light scuffing on the bottom. Together, better than very fine.
