A 1937 Spanish Medal for Suffering for the Country - Spanish Civil War. Two-piece construction, bronze gilt and enamels, 31.5 mm, bronze clasp inscribed "23.7.36-16.7.37" on faded blue ribbon, suspended from a traditional Spanish-style rectangular hanger with pinback, intact enamels, oxidation evident on the obverse bottom edge, better than very fine.
