An SS Fez of the 13th Handschar Division

An SS Fez of the 13th Handschar Division - Maroon wool exterior, embroidered skull and eagle insignias are crisp and sharp, head of the tassel attached to the fez via a thick stem, the tassel with a multi-fringe black cord skirt, some of tassel has been lost, leather sweatband exhibits very light crazing, intact stitching, free of mothing and discolouration, very fine.    Footnote: This group was composed of Muslim Bosnian recruits that fought Yugoslav partisans in Croatia from February to September 1944.
