Dark patina on BWM, light contact, extremely fine. Footnote: William Matthew Elliott was born on November 24, 1898 in Macknaw, Michigan. He was drafted for war service under the Military Service Act of 1917, signing at the 2nd Depot Battalion in Brantford, Ontario on January 5, 1918. He stated that he was single, that he had no previous military service and that his trade was that of Silk Operator.
