Footnote: The cross was established on August 11, 1948, destined to military personnel that served during the mobilization from April 1939 onwards but were not eligible for the War Commemorative Cross. The reverse bears an excerpt of the Dutch National Anthem "DEN VADERLANT GHETROUWE" (Loyal to the Fatherland).
