A WWII Town of Centuripe Bersaglieri National Association Banner; Red rayon field sewn back-to-back with a red, white and green conjoined rayon field, the obverse has a red field supporting a 130 mm x 145 mm gold-coloured bullion wire interlaced with matching sequins Bersaglieri insignia at the upper left and a silver and gold-coloured bullion wire fasces at the upper right, most of the latter insignia having been lost to time, with the blade on the fasces remaining intact, inscribed in large capital letters fabricated from gold-bullion wire interlaced with gold bands "ASSOCIAZIONE NAZIONALE BERSAGLIERI SEZIONE DI CENTURIPE", reverse illustrating the Italian flag, composed of green, white and red fields sewn side-by-side, the Royal crown in gold-coloured bullion wire interlaced with maroon embroidery, the shield below with a silver bullion cross on a red rayon field, framed in steel blue embroidery, the cross and frame are raised and supported by strips of white cloth, the bottom edge of the banner trimmed in 95 mm long gold-coloured bullion wire tassels, the banner measuring 400 mm x 540 mm, the two fields having separated along the top edge, the gold-coloured bullion wire exhibiting wear in the "I" of "DI", most of the fasces having been lost to time, sunned on the obverse, tear at the top and soiled overall on the reverse, fair.
