A Reichsnährstand Wartime Harvest Appreciation Female Farmers Badge - Zinc with a copper-coloured gilt, unmarked, illustrating an insignia in the centre with a swastika below and flanked by wheat sheaves, inscribed "Kriegserntedank an die Bäuerin" above and "Landesbauernschaft Alpenland" below, 50.5 mm, horizontal pinback, extensive gilt loss evident overall, better than very fine.   Footnote: The Reichsnährstand (RNST) was a government body set up in Nazi Germany to regulate food production.
