A First War German Army Telegrapher's Belt Buckle

A First War German Army Telegrapher's Belt Buckle; Silvered steel, magnetic, convex, unmarked, illustrating the Imperial crown in the centre over an open-ended wreath with the inscription "GOTT MIT UNS" (God Is With Us) above, brackets riveted in place on either end on the obverse in order to hold the steel frame that supported a reel of telegraph wire, 47.8 mm x 104.7 mm x 15 mm, surface wear and rust evident to the right of the insignia and on the reverse, very fine.
