A 1915 Prussian Battle of Lemberg (AKA Battle of Galicia) Medal - Bronze, obverse illustrating the crowned Prussian eagle above, the two-headed crowned Austrian eagle below, inscribed "SIE WIRD GESCHMIEDET AUFS NEUE" to the left and "DER NIBELUNGEN TREUE" to the right, and engraver marked "FH" in the centre, inside a wreath of laurel leaves, reverse inscribed "BEFREIUNG LEMBERGS  22. JUNI 1915" inside a wreath of laurel leaves, 28.7 mm, very light contact, extremely fine.
