A Victorian 53rd Shropshire Regiment of Foot Helmet Plate - Bronze, wreath surrounding a centrepiece inscribed "HONI SOIT QUI MAL Y PENSE" with a voided number "53" in the centre, very crisp detail, 86 mm x 95.7 mm, both lugs intact, gilt loss evident in the crown and under "QUI", extremely fine.
