A Saxon Albert Order; 2nd Class with Swords by Scharffenberg

Multi-piece construction, silver gilt with white, blue and green enamels, intact enamels with minimal contact, better than extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, marked S on bottom of 6 o'clock arm for Scharffenberg, with crossed swords fronted by an open-ended wreath and inscribed "A. R. 1." on the lid, recessed medal bed, three Dresden based maker labels affixed to the bottom, scuffed exterior, case better than very fine.
